Someone help im scared with noises?

So, earlier i heard a loud bang and ran outside to see all the neighbors out there. About 2 hours later my mom walks downstairs and hes knocking. My bro was sleeping. I was playing xbox.? My mom says she hears knocking once and a while. We live in apartments sobi dont know. Im scared help.
